Hey everyone:
I taped over part of episode 2 for WLS and was wondering if I could get a summary of what I missed. I still haven't seen the part that I didn't record over, but it had Yujin talking to her mom while she was sewing asking her if she loved her dad. Did I miss a lot? Summary, pleeease?

Basic summary:
In episode 2, Yu-jin and Joon-sang start dating after she's in the market one night and a man tries to assault her and Joon-sang saves her. They go into the police station and find out that neither has a father (hers is dead, his is "gone"). They have bandages on their faces when they go to school the next day and everyone is suspicious.
Later they skip class and take a ferry to some park and hang out all day. The next day, everyone again is suspicious and now making fun of them for dating; the professor yells at Joon-sang for making Yu-jin skip class.
Sang-hyuk follows Joon-sang and finds that he's spending time with SH's father. He confronts JS in the radio station and accuses of stealing things from him - Yu-jin and his father. SH asks JS whether he's dating Yu-jin just because of SH and JS says yes. YJ hears them speaking, comes in and confronts JS, slaps him. She cancels their date for Saturday and decides to go up to a mountain with the broadcasting club instead.
The group (including YJ, SH and JS) goes up to the mountain. The snotty girl realizes that they're not speaking and thinks that JS dumped YJ. While they're doing a game where everyone makes up a story, she turns it into a story about JS and YJ - though it was kind of already turning into that. YJ ran away and JS followed her - they argued and she ran away (and got lost on the mountain). Later, when JS came back, SH told him that she was gone and then went looking for her. JS also went looking for her and found her; they hugged and she cried.
There are a lot of other little things that I didn't include but that's the gist of it.

You're welcome!
I think that my fave character right now is the snotty girl becase a) she's so wrapped up in herself that she's hilarious, b) she's clueless, and c) everyone needs a snotty antagonist in order to shine in their true wonderousness.
I think that the park they were visiting the day when they skipped school was the same one that they show in the credits - except in fall instead of in winter. I wonder if the place will have some significance later in the series?

One thing I loved about this series is that EVERYTHING has significance. Everyone who shows up has a role in what happens later. Every place is rife with import. I think it's really tightly written. So pay attention, it's worth it.
That's all I'll say. Promise.
