Bo's SynopsisA "nonspoiler" synopsis: It's about love, lost and found, failing to conquer and conquering all. It's about family. It's about growing up and not knowing who you really are, and then what happens when you find out, and then everything turns upside down in another way. It's about betrayal and selfishness, and it's about faith and hope and giving up of the self. It's about pride in work well done. It's about mothers and sons, and fathers and sons, and daughters and mothers and sisters. It's a beautiful thing. If your boyfriend is so very hot to know what it's ABOUT, there's a website link below, where you can learn EVERY SINGLE DETAIL. (You probably should not post those here because you'll really ruin it for everyone else.) You'll enjoy the drama more if you don't let him tell you what's on the website, but it's nice to read after you've seen the whole show. jiwoofriends.com/wls.htmlBo

Koreanwiz's Introduction:Joon-sang is the first love of Yujin. He dies in a traffic accident. Ten years later, while engaged to Sang-hyuk, Yujin meets Min-hyung who looks just like Joon-sang. She has a lot more info along with links at: www.koreanwiz.org/drama-winter.htmlp.s. Winter Love Song is a miniseries and is 20 episodes long.

Also, just to make sure that you don't miss watching or recording the beginning, it's a good idea to turn on channel 28 at least 15 minutes earlier than what's scheduled in the evening. Most episodes of many Korean dramas run about 60 minutes in length, so the station allows a lot of padding for commercials.

Oh, well .......
At least we'll be able to enjoy it for two months or so. I hope at some point they'll repeat "On The Green Prairie", because that was 52 episodes, and I missed the first 13 or so. Even the shorter series have great story lines and characters, though.

One thing to get used to in KBC's presentation of this show is it is edited to fit the one-hour time slot, so each evening's airing is less than one full episode. But nothing is cut out; it stops when an hour (including commercials) is elapsed, and picks up at that point the next time. Thus, it runs for more nights here than it did elsewhere, but the actual total running time is the same.
So, sometimes the show just seems to stop, and other times it seems like there is an ending half way through. The biggest problem I encountered with this before was trying to correlate what was on here with episode guides based on the Korean sequence of episodes.

Ah; thank you, Soju.
About that link. When I went there today, the home page was there, but when I tried any of the links to episodes or other stuff, I got "URL not found" messages. This was very disappointing, because it was a wonderful website. Sorry, guys.

The Koreanwiz page is working as of today. I wasn't talking about Koreanwiz, Luce. There was a fansite called "polaris" something or other--I had posted the link to it and galacticchick reposted it in the first post in this thread. Unfortunately, that website seems to be off line. Bo PS - I just went to the home page for Jiwoofriends.com. It turns out to be a fansite for Choi Ji Woo (duh), the girl who stars in WLS as Yujin. The whole website seems to be fracacta--many of the links are inoperable or "under construction." You can check it out if you wish: jiwoofriends.com/index1.html
