Of course they were.
On one-on-one close combat Samurais were unbeatable.
There weren't many.
Nalbal is a fictional character and YSS avoided close combat at all cost, this was his fomula to success.
YSS's combat instruction on how to counter Japanese boarding.
1. Run to the gates to lower deck ASAP and lock the door immediately. 2. Another Korean ship nearby will try to clear the upper deck of boarded Japanese via a spread-shot canon fire. 3. Never, ever try to engage Japanese in person.

OK this is getting out of hand. If you read the rules and guidelines it states no name calling or racist behavior. I am locking this thread and if any more posts like this show up they will be deleted, period. Let's play nice.
