Commander Kim Wan escaped from the Japanese and came back. I guess he had been kept as a hostage but he outsmarted them He's been in the past few episodes again.

It was a touching moment when commander left his men at the hostage camp. He vowed to pay them back.

In episode 94 it made him seem like he was dead. Alot of the characters were speaking as if he was dead. Example: "poor Kim Wan. It was a shame what had happened to him. I knew Kim Wan was a funy man but never knew he could be so smart to out flank the japanese troops? But then again the japanese troops were never smart to begin with...

hehe I got a few laughs from the way you guys wrote:
"YSS mom"
chigirl: "When they were getting their butts kicked he lost it and killed Kohei."
and Bo: "Wakizaka lost his cool because Kohei kept heckling him during the battle, so he finally just whacked him with his sword. "
This was the great Hansando battle right? sigh....

Well, after episode 94, it was assumed all of the chosun forces were either destroyed or captured in that last battle where YSS was absent. When YSS came back, he had to rebuild the entire navy again and also find any remnants of his former men. It was very fortunate that Kim Wan survived.

Lt. Seo Han-Su - His death is cut out in Episode 104. He died in Episode 4. - The personal story of Han-Su and his father was another hearbreaking sub-plot.

Is Han-su's father the arrow maker? The one who is so angry with his son for returning alive?

No, they are different persons. When the arrow maker was making arrows (LOL), Han-Su's father was weeping alone when no one saw him because he was thinking his son dead. But he got angry or seemed to be angry when his son returned alive. Han-Su died in the final battle. The arrow maker Han-Su's father Han-Su and his old father

Oh, my, Florel, and I just saw this yesterday! I really thought they were the same person. I guess it's the "very old guy" makeup, LOL.
Thanks for clearing that up.
