Yes, Eowyn, it was just the way he started his sentence with "and" that made me think it was brought up before that, LOL.
Are you really from Krypton? I thought the photo you have was from a fantasy movie--I can't remember which one but it probably has something to do with your screen name, doesn't it, LOL--so you see how easily I'm confused. You all should be more careful, snrr, snrr...

Yes, that's it, LOTR! I loved the book. We bought the movie, but have not yet viewed it. Sorry.
But still. Who IS the girl from Krypton? Oh, wait. It's Eowyn. LOL.

I was right! So cute, Eowyn.
Now, back to the "favorite moments" subject! I just watched one this morning, in ep. 98--Yu Sung-ryong walks into the enemy camp, drinks up their booze and tells them they are losers! And walks out with his head on! What a tough customer. I guess he'd have to be, telling off the king for all these years. I laughed most immoderately, it was a great scene and very well done.
Oh, and the scene where he walks into YSS's camp and calls him "Brother." Cool.

One of the most memorable moments for me was after one of the first battles and the one Japanese captain was taken hostage (forget who - was it Ogawa?). Yi Soon Shin walks into the cells to find Nalbal and his stealth band torturing him for information. Disappointed, Yi "rescues" him and has Gong Tae Won talk to him because they were both Christians. Anyway, the moment I'll always remember is outside when Yi confronts Nalbal on his judgement. Very quietly Nalbal replies "Why did you think I wouldn't feel rage? The Japanese murdered my father, my mother and my friends..." Yi offers his understanding, but then reflects that they need to be better than their enemy. Though brief, I found that such a poignant moment, character-wise, and it stuck with me through the rest of the show. (By the way, I don't post here often so I'm sorry if it seems I'm merely butting in! Thanks to all the regular posters for such a great IYSS resource!!

I have just watched episode 33 of IYSS and i feel honored to be able to. i was so touched, by the honor love and loyalty exhibited by his men towards YSS. It was so hard to watch what was happening and I kind of wish I had read some of your posts so it wouldn t have affected me so much, but I will try not to read ahead but you guys are so good at explaining the show. thank you
