Yeah, it's been a really long time since we've had one of these. But, it had some pretty disturbing factors to it, so i thought it might actually be worth mentioning. Okay, so Father says "thank you and sorry" or something to that effect to jin-kook....maybe he's sad about the failure of the movie. and two, it seems like jee-hae has this nasty rumor or something like that spread about her. her father-in-law hands jae-min a newspaper and had this "i told you so" kind of look. What's going on???

Yep, the preview did look quite interesting. I love seeing those previews! I wish they would have them at the end of every episode.
I think maybe the newspapers are definitely talking about a rumor of Jee-hae. That's so bad, but I guess that's what happens when you become a star...with the good and the bad.
I was so happy to see DD tell JK he was sorry. The last time DD ever said that was when ESM ran out on him.

I wonder if the papers will come out with the scandal of Jee-min. Somehow I think that his birth mother wouldn't think twice about coming out with the story if they offered her money.
Or maybe band-aid or his friend, or even her new stalker, will start a scandal about her.

I don't know for sure, but Jin-kook's Dad, after seeing the movie, may be having second thoughts about how he's treated his son JK from his first marriage. Near the end of the episode, he told his wife, ESM, to "get out of the way" when he was watching a TV show with Jin-soo. Maybe he's seeing that he's been used by his wife who didn't like JK, from the start, and caused a lot of problems with Hee-soo.
She's still a shady character, so we never know what's going on in her mind.

I agree with you - maybe he's realizing that he fell under his wife's spell again just as quickly as he had before. I hope that he realizes that he should treat the members of his family that stuck with him through his troubles just as well as his wife, if not more, since she's shown herself to be unreliable sometimes.
That scene at dinner where DD told Heesoo to bring the babies back so he could look after them was priceless. ESM was sitting with her head down the whole time; it seemed like she was so confused and wondering what she could do to get herself out of inevitably having to watch the kids.

I loved the part where DD told ESM to move out of his way because she was blocking the TV. LOL! So much for your precious wifey now! It was great that DD told JK and HS that he was sorry to both of them as well as thankful for everything they've done.

Yes, it rings true that seeing the movie has led DD to see the past anew through JK's eyes, and I'm glad that they've done something with that idea. Poor little Jin-kook. Jenny, are you going to go [water-]skiing with him again, or have you gone off him forever?

P.S. I just got that I was supposed to be chachi. I stick my tongue out at you, O. Now that I've gotten that out of my system, how exactly does one pronounce "hachiue"? I had thought it was "ha-CHOO-weee" but the spelling doesn't seem right for that. And that's a screen name, isn't it? Isn't it Japanese? Does it mean something translatable? No, seriously, I'm askin'. Bo

Jenny, are you going to go [water-]skiing with him again, or have you gone off him forever? No, we'll go swimming. Aigu, I'm so embarrassed! I wore my bikini to the pool, when everyone else was wearing their winter clothing. Maybe now I’ll become an “inky star” like Ji-hae, with a fan café and stalkers and a skinny little manager. Jin-kook looked so much cuter in the flashbacks.

Bo Pronounced ha-chee-oo-eh, emphasis on the second syllable (remember, pronounce all vowels separately in Japanese). I sometimes use Japanese words for things to remember what they mean. (I still can't remember how to say I'm brushing my teeth, sigh.) I'm glad that we finally got to see the teaser info. And Jeehae looked so cute in her afro wig. But what's up with her braids all the time?

Ahem! That's SEVEN fan cafés, thank you very much. The people have spoken. --Jee-hae (really lucy) One fan cafe makes damage control easier. So when my fans find out that -- gasp! -- I can't cook, and accuse me of stealing a ham from Super Target, I only have one site to shut down. Hachiue, what does "hachiue" mean? I'd love to learn a new vocab word that isn't an item in a living room. -- Jenny

It just means plant. In the green growing sense, not in the spy sense. Though I pretend it works in the spy sense. It might not be considered an item in a living room ... It's from way back in chapter 3 (supplemental) though.
When I was looking in my book to see what chapter it was in, I came across yasumi (don't know why I didn't learn that one before) which means vacation/holiday. So appropriate! And helpful because I anticipate my upcoming yasumi greatly.
