I want Young-lan and Eun-Soo.....

to get remarried again, why can't he just forgive her and move on. We all know he has feelings for her.

Time was, I thought Young-lan should turn around and go away on the horse she rode in on, so to speak. But now that we've gotten to see her side of the story and she's shown that, though she may be tough on the outside, she actually has a lot of character and just doesn't want to be taken advantage of, plus the fact that her marriage was so unhappy mostly due to her MIL's interference, well, I have to agree with you. Young-lan is much better for Eun-soo that Jung-hee*, though he doesn't deserve her . . . yet. I have a feeling he's going to deepen and mature some and get her back.

*not that we've learned much about her, either. Maybe she'll turn out to be a diamond in the rough, too. Or maybe she'll end up really being the cipher she appears to be, preferred by Jung-ae only because she seems sweet and tractable.

I also want Young-lan and Eun-soo to get back together. I don't see it happening though. ES told his mom that he and Jung-hee planned to get married sometime this month. And with Young-lan going away, I don't know how she and ES could work things out.

younglan is way to good for eun-soo! eun-soo's type of lady is quiet, submissive, extreamly homicidal junghee.

Young-lan won't be happy with Eun-Soo until he cuts the apron strings to his controlling mother. E/S is in his 30's, with a child, still living at home writing novels. Y/L is ambitious, but maybe she doesn't want to be the sole support of the family as in the case of Sung-Ae and Min-Sup. Y/L also doesn't want to be the domestic help in the home of her in-laws. I suspect that her ex-MIL is actually jealous of her because she didn't achieve much in life except for taking care of her husband's mother and her own family.

I really feel sorry for Ji-Woong who is trying to reconnect with his mother, play with Jung-Hee, and live with his grandparents.

Jung-Hee wouldn't place a lot of demands on Eun-Soo as Y/L would. E/S could sit at home, writing novels with a loving J/H who will serve everyone.

Hey anybody notice that Jungae is practically forcing ES to live with JH and her parents? Now this is the woman who screeched when he mentioned moving out with Younglan.

And Jungae is saying that he will make his own decisions from now on - or at least agreeing with him when he says it. When YL was around, there was no agreement with that but more screeching.

What does JH got that YL doesn't? What is her secret of cowing the normally bubbly Bubbles?

Jung-hee has never talked back to Jung-ae. She doesn't make Jung-ae want to scream and pull out her hair like Young-lan does. Jung-ae is a control freak and she just can't stand it when Young-lan tells things the way they are or disagree with her ways. Jung-hee is quiet and doesn't question Jung-ae's ways.

I really don't want Jung-hee and Eun-soo to get married. I did at first because I didn't like Young-lan. But now that I think about it....maybe neither woman is right for Eun-soo. He needs to get his act together. In some ways, Young-lan does seem to be too good for Eun-soo. I think Jung-ae brought that up once to...about Young-lan thinking that she's better than Eun-soo.

Sometimes, I feel that Jung-Ae, Eun-Soo's mom, resents Young-lan for her independence and for her ability to chose her life. In a past episode, Jung-Ae told her husband, more or less, how she took care of his invalid mother while he got the credit for being a good son. Perhaps we're not aware of how much Jung-Ae put into taking care of everyone.

Sometimes, we fail to see a woman who's been taking care of her parents, husband, in-laws, children, grand-children and other family members, even friends, without much thought as to what she could be if she didn't have so many people dependent on her.

We see Jung-Ae as being controlling, which seems to be the case, but maybe she's put so much into their lives that she doesn't want to see them failing.

Eun-Soo, as an adult, still doesn't have a job that can support a family. Jung-hee is all too willing to take care of his family. Perhaps Jung-Ae sees Young-lan as being someone who motivates women to be independent. Jung-Ae's sister is a working woman who has a profession.

I think what we're seeing is women breaking from the tradition of having daughters-in-law taking care of a husband's family.

Good point, Sandy. I also think that DIL nowadays are breaking the role of being the typical housewife and going into the working field and supporting the family, which was what was used to be thought to be the man's job.

Ji-woong won't be truly happy without his mom anyway so, he can't marry Jung-Hee.
It will only hurt Ji-Woong.

That's true. As much as Ji-woong likes Jung-hee, she can never replace his mom. Eun-soo knows that. Jung-hee also knows how much Ji-woong loves his mom and it's not going to be any easier if she becomes his step-mom.

Has anybody read the spoilers, and knows if Young-Lan is coming back? And if she is going to remarry Eun-soo?

I remember a while back that Jung-hee told Jungae a few times that if he left her or went back to Young lan that she would kill herself. I know there was a couple times she had said things that really made me question her sanity.
