i couldnt agree more. what is the next drama? You have a long wait, KBS Korea just ending MPC 180 eps. Can't remember the name of next drama, but the guy who played the younger brother in One Million Roses stars in it.

Oh great, it's HK again. The only reason I kept watching OMR was purely because of Minjae.

We're only on episode 115 or so. If it just ended in Korea at epi 180, Hee-soo has another 65 episodes in which to gestate. That's a long time in the drama world.

Especially if they have one of those "X years later" things. Time enough for her kid to grow up and GET REVENGE ON ESM!

lee bo young - kim seung soo to star in new kbs daily evening drama ' ?? - beautiful you' which will replace current drama ' ? - my precious child' on 2/14/05 in Korea. the two will play a book designer, and sports center director, respectively. this is lee's first starring role in a drama. kim's costar in another kbs drama 'a million roses', lee chang hoon, will also be lee and kim's costar in the new drama. lee bo young and kim seung soo will play characters who were once classmates in primary school, who then meet again after 15 years and fall in love. lee chang hoon will play a publisher who also falls in love with lee bo young's character. actor jung kyung ho (pic below right) who gave a strong performance in kbs 'i'm sorry i love you' will play lee bo young's brother. and actress nam sang min (pic below left) from sbs 'lovers in paris' will play his love interest. kbs has held the top-rated evening drama spot for the last 2 years, hence this drama is also expected to generate high ratings and interest from tv audience.

Are you saying that in the new show the two brothers from OMR are going to be competing over the same woman AGAIN?

oh yes.. the "25 years later" concept. Gotta love it... in the Immortal Yi Soon Shin, one minute Yi is torn between two young women.. the next scene, he has a 4 year old (maybe 3) daughter... I guess it DOES save alot of draggy time... but MPF is really very long. Mamma's boy needs to get a life... or a different place to live ... or a passion-transplant... ok I'm finished now.

I get the feeling that MPC must have fired its writing staff a few times. The main characters seem unstable--they just become different people without any obvious reasons. How did Hee-soo go from being in charge to being so insecure? Why did the actor-formerly-known-as-the-archfiend suddenly go from being a spoiled drunkard into a caring, responsible adult? Such a radical transformataion because his mother started to lose her marbles? And what happened to Eunsoo's backbone? In alot of the good dramas, the characters change because events repeatedly and relentlessly push their characters into having some sort of pregnant moment of self-realization. This one just meanders. I agree with some the earlier posters: bring on the next show!

Lee Chang Hoon, a.k.a. Hyunkyu from OMR, looks like Leonardo DiCaprio w/that haircut of his.

Excellent analysis, T'ae-bi, I have always thought the writing was substandard on this show. So. What's 'T'ae-bi-mama' mean? Welcome to the board. Bo

Lee Chang Hoon was Min-jae. I know you meant whoever it was that played Hyun-kyu, but I loved Min-jae and wanted to make the correction.

So. What's 'T'ae-bi-mama' mean? Welcome to the board. Bo Thanks, Bo. T'ae-bi-mama means dowager empress, who was one of my favorite characters on 'Age of Warriors' (those were the days for high drama...)

Lee Chang Hoon? Lee Chang Hoon! LEE CHANG HOON!!! Yeee-haw! Lee Chang Hoon, a.k.a. Hyunkyu from OMR, looks like Leonardo DiCaprio w/that haircut of his. Where did you find pics from this series? I had no luck finding any. Leo DeCaprio is a step up from chunky-highlight Hyun-kyu!
