I REALLY BELIEVE YOUNG-LAN WHEN SHE SAID THAT SHE ONLY LEFT EUN-SOO TO MAKE HIM REALIZE HIS FULL POTENTIAL AWAY FROM HIS MOTHER'S GRASP. I MEAN, SHE LOVES HIM IF SHE CAME BACK FOR HIM. HE REALLY NEEDS TO MAKE SOME DECISIONS. IN TODAY'S EPISODE, HE LOOKS @ JUNG-HEE AND JI-WOONG PLAYING AND I THINK THAT HE ACTUALLY WISHES THAT IT WAS HIS EX AND HIS KID PLAYING. LIKE A SORT OF FAMILY. HE DID SAY THAT HE LIKED JUNG-HEE BUT WILL HE STICK AROUND AFTER SHE POTENTIALLY TURNS HOMICIDAL? (THIS IS JUST EXAGGERATING ON MY PART...)he needs desperately to break free from his mother's grasp.

I do believe that Eun-soo still has some unresolved feelings for his ex-wife, Young-lan. I personally think it was mean of Young-lan to run out on her husband and son without a trace. But I realize that she only did that to see if Eun-soo would come to his senses and take charge. I like Jung-hee, but I don't see any chemistry between her and Eun-soo at all. I'm sure that Eun-soo and Young-lan had great times together when they were married. Eun-soo's mom still irritates me sometimes. She really needs to be quiet and listen to what Young-lan has to say for a chnage.

Yesterday's episode really made me dislike Eunsoo. He's so immature and wishy-washy. Can't say yes or no to anything all he ever says it "I don't know" or "Later" If I were Junghee or Younglan I would not want this man for my husband. He's such an idiot!

Yesterday's episode really made me dislike Eunsoo.... If I were Junghee or Younglan I would not want this man for my husband... Not only that, he puts his son in the middle of his marriage! I was just watching the episode where Young-lan takes her son to the park, and Jung-hee and Eun-soo bring his jacket, and Eun-soo forces the kid to choose with whom he will have dinner--him or Young-lan. Of course, she's so mature, she does the same thing, and the kid starts bawling. Jung-hee, the little crazy, was left in the position of fixing everything up. I thought she should have banged their heads together, they both keep doing this to the kid. It's ugly. Bo

You know, in that scene where Jung-hee wanted to read the novel and Eun-soo didn't want her to, I got the feeling that he deliberately acted the way he did. He seemed to be enjoying it a little. Or, wait, was there another scene between the two of them?
At any rate, at some point during last night's episode (115, I think), Eun-soo was being rather cold to her. He had a look on his face that made it seem he was making a point with her, like, "Yes, it's easier to show my ex-wife the book because we were married and she already knows my 'insides', whereas you're just jealous that she got to read it." What occurred to me is that he is having second thoughts about the marriage and is trying to put some distance between them. Maybe he's doing it unconsciously, but I saw something.
I have to add, I love the byplay these days between Jung-hee and the ex-wife. Such a proliferation of mean little smiles!

Not to mention the mean/satisfied little smile Junghee gave when he finally let her read the book. I half expect her to just throw it on the bed or shred it into tiny bits because she didn't really want to read it, she just wanted to give both Eunsoo and Younglan a what for.
Maybe she'll start acting crazy in the next episode.

I noticed it to. I forgot what Junghee said, but I thought that Eunsoo would have tried to comfort her, instead he just gave her a wisea$$ smile.
I just really dislike the Koh family as a whole now. I'm ready for the next drama, how about you all. I'm actually looking forward to Drama City eps. than I am to MPC episodes.

No, I'm still enjoying this one as much as I ever did. It's not like "Phoenix," where I was ready to bail on it after just a few episodes. The characters don't exasperate me as they do some of you.

I still like MPC because there are so many problems on the horizon. Eun-Soo is educated, but acting like an idiot, a Mama's boy. I really think he sees his ex as a way to further any kind of career he has in mind, but his ex will demand a lot from him. Jung-Hee will give him a homey, comfortable life as long as he lives at home while she takes care of the family and his son. In this way, he can idle his time away in writing novels. According to his ex, his novel has some potential, but his ex and Jin-Kook will change it to their liking. I don't think Jung-Hee has any real interest in his novel. She seems to be a good person, probably would make a good wife and mother, but has no ambitions to get ahead.
I agree that Ji-Woong will suffer. This little boy had his father and grandparents doting on him. Then Jung-Hee comes along giving him the love of a mother. Now, his real mother returns complicating things. Young-lan won't be there for him all the time as Jung-Hee is.
Mother makes things even more strained by trying to make things work out the way she thought they should be.
