Does anyone who saw future shows know if they resolved who Jin soo's real father is? Is it Mr.Park?

I'm not sure if it is ever revealed who Jin-soo's biological father is. I'm thinking it has to be Mr. Park because he and ESM did have a close relationship. What I never understood is that DD didn't really get mad at ESM about Jin-soo. I'm happy that DD continued to treat Jin-soo as his real son. Instead of yelling at ESM about why she lied to him all those years, DD wants to sue Eun-soo .

Yes, the scene of a "normal" Jin-soo was really cute! Especially the one where ESM was scolding him and slapping his body to wake up. I know if ESM did that to Jin-soo as he is now, he would take it the wrong way and cry, "Mommy is bad!" But I really like Jin-soo the way he is. He's very adorable ! Yeah, DD didn't seem mad at all when he finds out that JS isn't his biological son. I'm not sure if he knew it all along. He did ask ESM many times about her relationship with Mr. Park, but ESM could never give a straight answer.

I just saw the episode where this was disclosed (via satellite; I think it’s running about one week ahead of Chicago). In that episode, a very agitated Young-shil had just finished Eun-soo’s book, and she was angrily describing the book’s contents to Dumb Dad. Twice she insisted that Dumb Dad and Jin-soo go immediately to the hospital and have a DNA test done, so that there’d be no doubt that in anybody’s mind that DD is the biological father.
From her actions, I came away thinking that I’m pretty sure that the father is NOT Mr. Park. Now, one could also argue that Young-shil’s crafty enough to realize that the more she demands a DNA test, the more Dumb Dad will believe she’s telling the truth. But, she seemed so emotionally bent out of shape last night that I doubted that she really had the wherewithal to formulate such a devious plan on such a short notice.
However, that’s just my observation from watching last night’s episode. My opinion could still change in the days ahead.

yea it does seem that she was more upset about the accusation then DD was. i dont know about mr. park being jin soo's real father but it is definantly clear that mr. park and esm had a "thing" in the past.

SPOILER~~~~~
I think the part where Jinsoo isn't DD's son in the book is just creative license. JK and HS admitted as much when they were talking in their room. Plus ESM told DD to take JS to the hospital to get a DNA test, so he would know for sure he was his son. The book also said that the dad never came out of his coma and the ESM drove off a cliff with Jinsoo.
Anyway, DD is JS's dad, from what I believe.

I have a question, Melissa. (Yes, I broke my unbreakable rule about not looking at spoilers because, well, I'm just impatient with this show.) Anyway, at first, in your spoilers, I thought when you said "Yun-jee" it was just an alternative spelling of "Jung-hee" (Eun-soo's wife), but it seems clear that she's a different character. Is she the bold actress from Jin-kook's first movie? How come she's taking care of Jin-soo?

Well, Bo...those were spoilers from Purpletiger's website on MPC (which hasn't been updated since December, LOL). I'm only a few shows ahead of you, so I haven't seen this episode. I'm assuming it's someone they meet maybe through Jinsoo's art exhibition or something. (shrugs) Possible spoiler about Hee Soo's clothes..... Just wait until you see the episodes in a few days. Hee Soo is wearing maternity tops, but has no signs of pregnancy underneath. Does she have an aversion to wearing padding to make her look pregnant? Good grief. Melissa

Thanks, Mel.
Anywho. I think the identity of this Yun-jee is the only thing I'm curious about in the drama any more.
By the way, Melissa, I see you are being very, very good in your spoiler formatting, but under this particular thread, you don't have to put in all that space. Because it's the spoiler thread--LOL--so anyone who has a problem with reading spoilers here really needs a checkup. Just type them like a normal post, okay? (Everyone else do that, too.)

hey, the series just ended here in L.A., I dont know if someone already said this spoiler, but there is an episode near the end where grandma acts normal again, she is surprised that jahee is an actress, and that they have a housekeeper, but in the same episode she is back to her previous state. Minsup and everyone really thought she was back to her old self again. Anyway overall I have mixed feelings about this show, I mean minsup and heeso's father-in-law were funny as hell, but some of the storylines and acting was just so incoherent.

This is just ridiculous. Granted they're not trying to marry them off (at least I don't think so), but to try and pair Jinsoo with a girl (who doesn't have any disabilities) just because he thinks she's pretty and because she likes his art is insane. Minsup made some comment to her (in regard to going to Jinsoo's house) about some artist (can't remember who) who had a wife who stood by him. Made me think it was a similar situation. What's even more pathetic is that when I saw this was epi 171, I though only 8 more to go! If they hadn't played around with the number of episodes (3 a week) for a while, we would have been finished by now. So ridiculous. Just when I thought the plot couldn't get any more far-fetched, it does.
