Aigu! Seems like dads are always messing up and making their family pay for it. I felt sorry for the dad who was going to go home to the crazed wife. I guess his intent was noble, trying to help out a friend, but to put your family’s livelihood at stake to help someone out? I would have thought that one out more.
You'd think they'd watch K-dramas and learn a lesson!

Aiguu to myself-I always type to fast and then think. It should read Appa shouldn't it, since Opa is for brothers and brother-like friends.

Aigu! Aigu! I couldn't believe that Abuji did that! remember the phone call last week from some guy who said, "I'm sorry," and then hung up? What the he-- kind of apology is that? It's like a dud bomb that turns out not to be a dud at all. "I'm sorry in advance, and *you'll* find out why later. Bye!"

I was just holding my breath till it came out to light. Remember how the wife asked him on ep.1 “You didn’t co-sign for a loan again, did you?” Also, when he was talking to himself he was asking if X’s business was doing well.

Question: What kind of dope asks a poor man to co-sign a loan anyway? That is so irresponsible, and now look what's happened--that family is going to be out on the street.

Me thinks the dope is the one that co-signs. The other guy got away scotch free! Or so I think.

That Abuji (thanks, Lucy ) sure is idealistic. "People don't lie, money lies." Ummm....money doesn't have a mouth. He should take a couple of philosophy lessons from his daughter.

Tee-hee!
Yeah, what he said sounded good at first, but when you take it apart it's a lot of hooey. If there's any "lying" being done, it's from people--the supposed victims in the case--fooling themselves about what money does or having money means. They're complicit in their own destruction. Which is just a fancy way of saying, in fact, "Money doesn't have a mouth."
Silly abuji!
But anyway, I am finding that that mother's voice is grating on me like squeaky chalk. Boy, people in Korean dramas sure know how to whine like babies, don't they? I'm not saying she has no cause to be that upset, but the way she's expressing herself makes me want to gag her.

Even when she was on the floor talking to herself about what a miserable fate she has, she still has the energy to say "My college educated son--who asked you to make porridge!" Yep, YH granny needs to give her one good whack across the head.

I want to know what happened related to he-soo's money. When her mother was complaining she said that abuji wasted all of it - she mentioned it separately from the college fund too, so it made me think it was something else. Shameless!

I felt sorry when the dad was crying on Friday. Here he was, trying to do a good thing and he gets stuck with a $480,00 debt. Doubt you’ll find that much money in your piggy bank He-soo.
What good is it that he submits himself to his wife’s will now? He should have payed attention to her when they were up half a million dollars. Or is it won?

I thought he said he would submit himself to He-soo's will since he lost her college money. But it more sense for him to submit himself to his wife's will.
