Hello, all!  Regardless of how any of us actually truly felt about the Phoenix drama itself, for me this fan board has absolutely been the most fun on the KBC line-up I've seen. Dear fellow post-ers, you are hilarious! ;D Creative, colorful, smart... your terrific descriptions of the characters, scenes, facial hair, eggs, stepmothers, drinking, driving, slapping, etc. were so funny because they're right on the mark! The thing that sticks in my mind is Ji-Eun always just turning abruptly on her heel and dramatically walking away SO S-L-O-W-L-Y, carrying that enormous handbag that was about 3 times the size of her head! (Also, what is the deal with not saying good-bye or bowing or waving or SOMETHING? --- "How rude!"  ) Anyway, thank you, thank you all for making me look forward every day to reading these wonderfully funny and creative entries for the past few months. You guys are the best! (And I also love all the cute avatars, photos, cartoons, quotations, etc., too!) |

How nice of you FlowerLady!  You are also funny and brought up some "serious" points to discuss. Maybe we should have more awful dramas added to the line-up so all the can continue to bond. Still waiting for the Wed/Thur. drama back.  |

Flowerlady, you are just the sweetest!!! The only reason I posted here was because everyone was so nice, and fun! There really wasn't much to discuss story-wise, I mean it was a good drama, but it was more fun to joke than to discuss. I agree, they should air a subtitled dud, so we can have something else to joke about! Maybe we should make this the unofficial Eric thread? I'm desperate to hear him rap! If I find something I will post a link, that ought to keep the joking alive! ;D |

That statement by itself made me crack up. What could he possibly have to rap about? The bad hair day he’s had? The photo shoot didn’t capture his best angle? Yes, we should continue to torture him. Or as his character would say "We shall continue to torture a man named Seo ...." wait--what was his character's name? I always just went by Eric, Cheesy Eric, Loser Eric, etc. My biggest pet peeve on this show was the continuous use of the phrase "A man/woman named______"(fill in the blank).  |

Speaking of Eric rapping, does anyone remember all of the noise he was making early on (around Episode 4) when he was in a club and had his arms around several girls on stage?  They were jumping up and down, and he was yelling out something that translated into "Let's Run Wild"! He sounded absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!!! I hope that the rest of his "music" sounds better than that! |

I checked on annyoung.com for Shinwha----it looks like they have at least 10 CD's out!!!! And some VHS's & DVD's, too of their concerts and another K-drama(?). ......Does this mean that we are missing something somewhere? (---"NOT!")  I thought it was comical that the Phoenix tried to "showcase" Eric's musical "talent" on this drama. (Wasn't his Emmy-quality acting performance enough?) |

I highly doubt anyone really wants to buy it. Although, it might be a good weight loss technique...how many calories do you burn off by laughing?
I saw a Shinhwa video not too long ago, it was basically just close-ups of all the members, I don’t think I even saw anyone singing. It reminds me of the Simpson's episode where Bart is in a boyband. I wonder if they really have a machine that makes them sound good even when they are not....oh wait, it's called a synthesizer.

That's the one. My favorite line from that episode was Ralph Wiggum's "I want to twirl!" *twirls*. And now I've gone and remembered those weird attacks Eric got in front of his parked car which he called dancing.
