Two things:
1) Why did we not see Ji-eun's mom apologize to se-hoon? I think he deserved it.
2) After watching all those filler scenes with Bok-ja (PD Nam) and the boy, what happened to them and where did she go? We did see the boy with Ho-jin and his family.

1. I don't know, but there were so many loose ends in this drama, it was like an unraveling sweater. (see below) 2. That's the $64,000 question: Why did they never settle the Bok-ja subplot, and why did she disappear suddenly with only one word of explanation ("She's gone to Australia for three years")? Unfortunately, you won't find any answers here!

Maybe "going to australia" is the korean euphemism for "pregnant but shamed and having the baby elsewhere so no one here knows about it."
I know it's not. But, seriously, that was so out of left field.

Only few months later, Bok-ja comes back from Australia and marries that little guy. They live happily ever after. ;D

I had been holding off from reading this board because I was trying to catch up with all the missed episodes. As for my final thoughts my biggest one is: Well, there's 25 hours of my life I'm never getting back. This was a Bodyguard caliber drama. I give it a C-. My three favorite characters were Miran (I just loved her), Will (I think I'm basing this more on his looks though, although I did love it when he got teary-eyed), and Bok-ja (who left the biggest expression on my face by her sudden departure). I FF through a lot of the last episodes because I think they just overdid it with the pensive stares. How long am I supposed to look at Ji-eun staring outside the window? I am definitely looking forward to Damo.

I agree with you GC about the stares, without them this drama would have been closer to the 20 that knov1 wanted. there were so many between ji-eun and will in every episode it was ridiculous.

My favorite scene was when they had dinner together, and Will was so happy to be eating with JE that he cried. It's interesting to me how we can interpret the same scene in different ways. I thought he was crying because he was still so sad/guilty about Miran's death.

Yes, my feelings were more along your lines, GC. I felt like he was overwhelmed by all that had happened, sad and maybe moved at the thought of it all.
