yes it was very creepy and I don't think it will be good for sae hoon from here on out with mi-ran,she reminds me of a passage in the original version of frankenstein, written by MARY SHELLY " IF I CANNOT INSPIRE LOVE THEN I WILL CAUSE FEAR."this is a great book by the way for any of you that have not read it,even though it will be a difficult read because it was written in the late 1700 hundreds i believe so it's written in the style of english spoken back then.she borrows heavily from MILTONS "PARADISE LOST" AND DANTE'S DIVINE COMEDY."

I will admit (as much as we love to hate Mi-ran's character and her evil, sneaky deeds), the actress who plays her is doing a really good job. We can now see a wider range of emotions as her mental illness becomes more evident with each episode. Mi-ran is a tough role to play, and we are really appreciating the good acting very much.

I thought it was written around the same time as Dracula, in the 1800s. I learn something new ... I am seriously amazed by Mi-ran's character. And, on a tangent, what do you think of her new hair? I'm trying to decide if it's a character change (as in, they change the character's hair each time a huge change in their life occurs, which has happened so far) or if it's supposed to evoke some certain crazy person. When I first saw it I thought she looked like Cleopatra (I know, not what they were going for!). Maybe a character from Tosca traditionally has that hair cut when they put on the opera?

I thought it was written around the same time as Dracula, in the 1800s. I learn something new ... Well, she got the idea for it in the summer of 1816 and published in 1818. There are quite a few websites discussing the life of Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley and Frankenstein, if you put her name into a search engine you can find them easily. Dracula was published in 1897, I believe. I think they are of a piece with each other, though. Didn't Mi-ran actually say something like, "If I cannot inspire love, then I will cause fear"? She's always saying mean schatz like that. Exceedingly creepy. Bo

As for Mi-ran, why don't they have a suicide watch on this girl? She walks on glass and they just send her home to watch old movies on TV? Maybe the doctors go to the same school as the firefighters.

"You are in the wrong," replied the fiend; "and, instead of threatening, I am content to reason with you. I am malicious because I am miserable. Am I not shunned and hated by all mankind? You, my creator, would tear me to pieces, and triumph; remember that, and tell me why I should pity man more than he pities me? You would not call it murder if you could precipitate me into one of those ice-rifts, and destroy my frame, the work of your own hands. Shall I respect man when he contemns me? Let him live with me in the interchange of kindness; and, instead of injury, I would bestow every benefit upon him with tears of gratitude at his acceptance. But that cannot be; the human senses are insurmountable barriers to our union. Yet mine shall not be the submission of abject slavery. I will revenge my injuries: if I cannot inspire love, I will cause fear; and chiefly towards you my arch-enemy, because my creator, do I swear inextinguishable hatred. Have a care: I will work at your destruction, nor finish until I desolate your heart, so that you shall curse the hour of your birth."
if this isn't a perfect example of MI-RAN'S madness I don't know what is.
I had feelings of affection, and they were requited by detestation and scorn. Man! you may hate; but beware! your hours will pass in dread and misery, and soon the bolt will fall which must ravish from you your happiness for ever. Are you to be happy while I grovel in the intensity of my wretchedness? You can blast my other passions; but revenge remains--revenge, henceforth dearer than light or food! I may die; but first you, my tyrant and tormentor, shall curse the sun that gazes on your misery. Beware; for I am fearless, and therefore powerful. I will watch with the wiliness of a snake, that I may sting with its venom. Man, you shall repent of the injuries you inflict.

I think she's the best developed character in this show. She's stayed consistent all this time and I can't remember any instance of her doing something that didn't make sense and us never having an explanation for it. Like the money scene w/Jieun. I want to know DIDN'T SHE EVER FIND OUT HER SISTER TOOK HER MONEY?

What do you want from this show? A well-written story? Bo Of course! I think they spent so much time on getting Will & Scary Miss Mary right on, that they neglected spoiled brat Eric and sometimes Ji-eun.

I was just looking at some Olympics reports, and the woman who won the silver medal in weightlifting in the 75+ kg (over 165 lbs) category is Jang Mi-ran. She lifted 302.5 kg! If "our" Mi-ran could do that, she could pick up, like, Eric, Ji-eun, Se-hoon, and probably their families and throw them right out the window. An idle thought on a very busy day!

Just think, her injury and subsequent electrocution has given her the strength of 20 ordinary Mi-rans.
It's like superman but evil.

Electrocution? what did I miss? I think hachiue means when she got that mild electric shock from the lamp that jump started her spinal nerves or something like that.
