Okay, so why was the American "potential partner" of seo lin "testing" Ji-eun? He asked her to explain the paper to her and she said that she couldn't, since she was their employee and might be biased (good english, my foot, I couldn't understand half of what she was saying and he was a *bad* actor).
Also, I missed the very end of the episode - recorded it on Tuesday morning - and didn't see anything after Ji-eun thanked Eric for saving her. Did anything important happen after that?
I recommend, by the way, recording/watching the episodes on Monday and Tuesday instead of Friday and Saturday, because the episodes have no commercials and are still a full hour long, which means that a good twenty minutes of footage is cut out on Friday and Saturday.

Do you mean after Ji-eun thanked *Se-hoon* (her ex-husband) for saving her? If so, yes, they had a rather long conversation about themselves and why their marriage ended; Ji-eun took some responsibility and, as I recall, said she wasn't the only one to blame. They were talking pretty intimately and seemed sad and regretful, and Eric came in on the end of it. He overheard enough to understand that they were once married and that there seems to be something between them still. According to the preview, there will be some punching in the next episode.

Whoops, yes I meant See-hoon. ;D
Ooh, and I'm glad that they'll finally get to the punching. No more skulking around for them!
I wish the Mi-ran would interfere and beat up Eric with her wheelchair of death....

Just to clarify (after re-reading my first response), I wasn't being snotty in my first line--I had the feeling that something was cut out of Saturday's episode and that I might have missed a scene in which she thanked Eric before realizing it was Se-hoon who had saved her.

Lucy, I could be wrong but I think she did thank Eric first without realizing that SH had actually saved her, while she was lying on the bed. It wasn't until MR clarified the incident to her and said that she should be thankful that "Her Will" saved her. That's when JE first realized that it was SH and not Eric that saved her. So intially I think she did thank Eric thinking he was the hero and not her ex-husband.

Thanks for the info on the scene with See-hoon!
I don't know if it's just a lack of response, but was the scene where she walks with the American in the garden and he asks her to translate a document for him cut out of the Saturday episode? It occurred just before she saw See-hoon in the hall and had the conversation with him in front of the window where she thanked him.

Hi, Hachiue--No, the scene with the American (Mr. Rosman) and Ji-Eun walking in the garden was in last Saturday night's episode. That's where we first heard Ji-Eun speaking English. Also, as far as we can tell, the full versions of each episode appear to be aired in their entirety on both Fri. & Sat. evenings AND Mon. & Tues mornings. If this is not the case, would someone please let us know? Thanks very much!

I don't know for sure because I haven't watched an episode from both the initial air and the re-air. However, the Friday and Saturday episodes seem to be an hour with commercials. The Monday and Tuesday episodes are also an hour, without commercials. But, since I haven't seen an episode from both of those days, I don't know what they cut.
I saw the Saturday episode and the Tuesday one is taping as I type, so when I watch it tonight, I'll let you know if I see anything that was missing from Saturday's episode.
