I took a little break from the matchups. But now that we, here in Philly, are close to the finish line and have seen most of the important characters, I am in a better position to consider the overall impact that individual warriors had in light of the big picture.
I am interested in hearing some opinions on the following pairing:
Brue vs Choi Choong Su
Brue... A man with an unshakable sense of loyalty, Brue was The Archfiend's faithful sworn brother who was killed only hours prior to Yi Ui-Min's own death. He showed great loyalty throughout the series and was clearly a very formidable warrior.
CCS... The irrepressible brother of CCH who helped destroy the Archfiend and depose Emperor Myung Jong, only to later betray trust in favor of his own ambition. While alive, he showed himself to be perhaps the most skilled of the Woobong warriors.
The question is simple... Who would win, Brue or CCS?
Please share your opinions and, if possible provide an illustrative example or two.

Man, this is tough. Both men were very emotional but Choi Choong Su was bit more rash to attack more than Brue, so I give a point to Brue for being calm in battle. However, Choi Choong Su was always thinking on how to out smart his opponent and took chances. For example, he collected his man to try to eliminate the present emperor when Choi Choong Hon was still laying low and still trying to find a way inside the military. So a point goes to Choong Su for putting his plans in action.
Choong Su did fight his brother for supremacy of the military, so that shows how ruthless Choong Su was. I still need to investigate this question more. But right now I would give Choong Su the win soley based on his lack of attachment on his opponents. Brue,on the other hand, would let his emotions be involved if say he fought Yi Ui Min in battle.

I see your point. You're saying that Brue would fight more fiercely against certain opponents than he would against others.
It's probably would be good to consider CCS's propensity for attacking out of anger a little more deeply. While Brue seemed to win when he was "in the right" and lose when his attack was unjustified, CCS seemed as though he was always eager to fight. This could be a strength against Brue. However, seeing as how they are roughly equally skilled warriors, I might be inclined to go the fighter who does better at controlling his emotions. The problem is, I can't tell which of these two is that warrior.
Remember... "Be like water".
Excellent analysis as always Skinz.
