very uncharacteristic of the watcher tonight, perhaps it was a watcher wannabe and didn't have the right stuff. or maybe the watcher gave up?

(lady enters wearing mens clothing with a cloth tied over her lower face. she looks around to see if anyone is around and then jumps over the gate to the imperial city. it is dark so no one sees her)

howsabout we go after the emperor instead? Now The Watcher has all the evidence necessary to prove the criminals' plot to overthrow the Emperor and seize the throne. Thus........
Two shadowy figures sit on horseback, atop the hill overlooking Chung Kyun's encampment, but they are unseen by the useless guards that fearful Chung Kyun surrounds himself with.
The Watcher looks forward over one of the great steeds and points toward Chung and General Du draws back his powerful bow. Leaning toward General Du, The Watcher admonishes, "I am a forgiving & generous soul, so do not kill him, General. Let him live. Perhaps Chung will repent if we spare his life, and he tastes the closeness of death." Du aims for Chung's eyes, holding back the power of the bow, waiting for just the right moment.
A smile crosses General Du and the arrow streaks toward its target whistling as it goes. The soldiers all turn to and fro searching the sky for the sound as they fearfully cringe toward the ground.
A streak whizzes past the treacherous wench luvarchfiend, its feathers brushing her cheek in passing, but cutting her skin like a sharp razor. She squeals in fright and reaches up to touch her burning cheek. The warm stickiness envelopes her fingers. She withdraws them from her face and gasps to see her blood.
Too late she thinks of Chung Kung, realizing he may be dead. Panicked she turns toward him, but the arrow has already reached its target.
Chung heard it coming, and in a moment that slowed all the world, he saw the bolt turning & twisting toward his eyes, its sharp metal edge ready to take his life. But Chung was also frozen in that moment and could not move from his destiny. The arrow's sharp edge slit his cheek and then slashed his ear nearly off as a fountain of blood gushed forth leaving him screaming in agony as his knees buckled below him.
Luvarchfiend ran toward him shrieking , Kyun, Kyun, Kyun are you all right? Blood streamed down her face, her beauty now scarred.
They were both "marked" by The Watcher.
Up on the hill, a dim light grew brighter, and was soon recognized as fire. The Watcher drew back a bowstring and rapidly unleashed a hail of fire arrows. The encampment below was in flames and chaos.
General Du looked at The Watcher and affirmatively nodded. The Watcher nodded back. They turned their horses and slowly sauntered off into the night.
The Watcher had struck again, with yet another blow for justice and good!
