We are having a HEAT WAVE in the UK! The temperature here in London is 36 degrees this afternoon Set to continue for the rest of the week.... Love, a very hot Yunyun LOL. I saw "36 degrees" and my American brain said, "What? That's almost freezing!?" And immediately remembered that y'all have that OTHER temperature measurement system. We're having a heat wave, too (I'm in Chicago), but fortunately today is not so bad. (we're 85 degrees Fahrenheit = 30 Celsius). So you've got us beat today. Oh, here's a handy little Fahrenheit to Celsius Converter (and vice versa) -- it's really easy, just put in one number and click outside the box: www.wbuf.noaa.gov/tempfc.htmExpanding on this tangent, I remember when I visited England a few years ago (okay, it was about 10), we'd watch TV for the weather and the forecaster would only say, "It's a hot one!" or "Cloudy weather!" or "Some rain in the north!" They never gave the temperatures or whether it would be humid. It was so frustrating, we never could tell what the weather would be because "hot" to us was so much higher a temperature than it was to the Brits. Now that I think of it, knowing the temperature would not have helped as I don't usually convert temperatures and wouldn't have had a clue, anyway. LOL. Bo

Hi Bo! That's funny! ;D Although in UK it really is a bit deal, we are not used to this hot weather, and we have had power cuts in London because of everyone having a/c on all the time. They say the Power Stations can't keep up with demand. Except what I don't understand is, in the winter everyone has the heating on....so why all the power cuts? Hmmm....wrong type of electricity perhaps? Whatever next? ;D Thank you for the link to the C/F converter. I just multiply by 1.8 and add 32 degrees for Fahrenheit, but an automatic converter is much easier ;D We are still having a heat wave, but thankfully today it is a bit cooler and luckily I have my fan.... Oh, by the way everyone, do check out my tribute to Yang Mi-Kyung's birthday, along with a Lady Han VOD, on my DJG blog. ;D ;D Love, Yunyun
