(That may have been part of a scene put back into the Monday morning rebroadcast.) In-huan was not surprised that the sister had not kept in touch, because the death of H-K's oma had been so traumatic. He also said that she is the wife of a diplomat who lived in Singapore. I would imagine that if Grandma is so twisted up in her memory of H-K's mom, she would have an obsessive feeling of connection to the family. (Although she DID say she's "forgotten" this aunt.) Bo

The woman's name is Lee Myung-joo and as described before, her husband is a diplomat and she has been living in Singapore, and is scheduled to return to Seoul soon. But there's more...she is also a big corporate honcho in her own right, being Vice President of a company known as Rainbow International....She will cause quite a stir in this series...and we will be seeing much of her in upcoming episodes! Btw, for those who might be interested, I have posted a number of OMR SPOILERS in the Hawaiian OMR group. www.kbfd.com/eng/messageboard.htmThen go to "General Discussion"

Please, redstone, I know it's done in a spirit of fun, but I would rather not know stuff that's going to come up in future episodes. Yours in the solidarity of OMR lovers , Lucy

Please, redstone, I know it's done in a spirit of fun, but I would rather not know stuff that's going to come up in future episodes. Yours in the solidarity of OMR lovers , Lucy I haven't revealed anything of substance just now in this forum, As for mentioning the spoilers I posted and providing a link, no one is forced to go to the Hawaiian forum ...and as for Myung-joo, I don't think anyone could possibly guess what her role is based on info I just provided.... Mentioning that she is a corporate honcho doesn't even begin to reveal what she will do in this series, because I don't know anything about her own position within the company; I don't know what she does, for instance...If anything, I have read more speculation than fact.......

We disagree on what a "spoiler" is, I suppose. By that I mean telling us anything that is going to happen in the future, including the revelation of people's identities--stuff that we in Chicago haven't seen.

Sorry redstone, but I have to side with Lucy on this one. It's one thing to explain to humble what he or she missed...the information humble asked about was contained in the ep. that aired here Friday and it seems like somehow humble missed the explanation. So it's ok to go over that part and explain it was the aunt who called, because that much was already revealed in the ep. All you're doing in a case like that is providing a recap of a specific part of the ep. that aired already.
But when you get into other stuff...even just hinting at what's to come, you cross the line into providing spoilers w/o warning to people watching in Chicago time who haven't come to that part yet and may not want to know. It may seem silly, but a lot of viewers really do like total surprise on all plot developments...even the smallest details.
A better way to do your post would've been to say:
The woman's name is Lee Myung-joo and as described before, her husband is a diplomat and she has been living in Singapore, and is scheduled to return to Seoul soon.<<<<<<
That's some of what you posted, but you should've stopped there. You could follow up by letting everyone know you've posted spoilers about this character and what part she will play on another forum and go ahead and give the link. That's permissable and I know a lot of board users here will appreciate that and want to check it out.
But to go into more detail -- even things that may seem very minor to you -- is not fair to regular users here who don't want any kind of advance knowledge of things to come foisted upon them w/o warning. I think it may be hard for some people watching in LA who are a little ahead of Chicago, or who have spoiler information from soompi or KBC, whatever, to stay quiet while the rest of us in the dark go along at our slow pace, waiting to catch up. I'm sure there's a temptation to spill the beans, or even seem kind of important by showing off in a sense what you know that others may not know.
I do understand that temptation, but even so, please refrain from giving in to it. When I was watching YH this issue came up several times on the discussion board, and when I reminded people to show consideration for viewers in Chicago who don't wish to see spoilers, sometimes I'd take a beating for it. I hope the same thing won't happen here, but even if it does, I don't regret saying it. The spoiler consideration is important and sometimes folks need to be reminded of it. It's a basic courtesy and I don't think it's too much to ask that everyone respect it.
Not to get on your case redstone...keeping posting your links to your spoiler thread on the other board as much as you like. Just try to be very careful about what you reveal here, if you please. Thanks!
Jade

Could this be in a wild turn of events, Lee Myung-joo is not only the sister- in- law of In-huan but the invester that Suh suggested for a loan to put in the golf course at Joyland? How wild would that be?
Suh did mention the invester was coming to see him and he would talk to "Them" and let In-huan know about a meeting soon.

I think HK's aunt could very well be connected with that investor that Mr Suh is going to introduce to Mr Oh but you don't have to have read any spoilers to see that she (the aunt) is going to be trouble. Did you see that sly, cruel look on her face after she hung up with Grandma last night? And her voice.....so soft and seemingly sweet...*shudders*. She is up to no good for sure.

I can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve!

This actress (Hyun kyu's aunt) is great.. She can really play different characters.. On To Be W/You (I think) she played that goofy landlady & then Restuarant owner. I think this is the 3rd or 4th time I've seen her on a drama. Think she's great.

Omigod! You mean Kyun Mi-ree is on this one, too? I'm so excited. I haven't been able to watch the Wednesday/Thursday morning tapes yet, so I didn't see her. Oh, goody, goody, goody.

Nsheldon, I think you are correct. I think she was also the shy coffee house sister on Who's my love- the one who married the screaming director. I that same vein- someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the woman who played the dentist sister playing opposite her in GJG as the other head lady trying to get ride of JG? Anyway, I agree that she is a great actress. She was a total flake as the landlady and so she as the coffee house lady and a real b----- as lady Choui so it will be very interesting to see what she'll be up to with the world's worst grandma.
