So, what did everybody think? I think I'm gonna like this one! It isn't like YH so far, but it reminds me of the other K dramas I've seen. And it has the best evil villan there is: a wicked mother-in-law! I love it when a drama has a character that makes my blood boil, especially when it's a witchy in-law! And I can't get over the character who was Hoon Sook in So This is Love (the interior designer in this drama) - so different from the frail and feeble Hoon Sook! And if that was a Chanel blazer she was wearing at the job site, she will be my favorite character. I hope everyone is still watching, even though it isn't YH.

I'm watching OMR & here in CA we are going into week three... It took me at least 8 or 9 episodes but I am really enjoying it thus far. Hoon sook on 'This is Love' plays a totally different character in this story... Enjoy watching them play such different parts.. Like Ja young's charcter on YH was totally different than the outgoing fun-loving person she was in another drama I saw (forgot the name of that one). I love the music at the beginning of OMR ... I love the characters on OMR... I tried to find out how many episodes there are but couldn't. DOES ANYONE KNOW? ?

It isn't YH but i really like OMR so far. There are some familiar faces as well as new ones, there's comedy as well as drama and the setting is interesting. I'm glad it's being shown in the morning as well as at night to capture those deleted scenes. Does anyone know how long this one will run?

I caught episodes 1 and 2 by parts. It looks good so far (from what I saw anyways). I don't know if they had Son Tae Young (the actress that plays Hye Ran) change her voice because her character is supposed to have a cute personality but that's not how she actually talks. Her voice in the drama is higher pitched than her normal speaking voice. Anyways, it's not a big deal or anything but I just found that kind of weird.

OMR is really good and I love the way how all the characters are tie to each but they don’t know how yet. I really can’t wait to find out the whole story between Min-jae and Hyun-kyu. I feel bad for Min-jae cause it like his grandmother make him seem like the outsider. I also can’t wait to see this Mrs. Sim’s lady and the story behind why she is bothering Ms. Choi Keum-ja. Overall, I really like this drama it not YH but I still like.
The drama makes me want to go to Joyland......

I missed the 1st episode and can ne1 fill me in? The son with the blond hair (who by the way is always wearing sunglasses) is coming back home from "studying" (later on in the same episode we learn that he was kicked out or was just plain slacking off in school). We are introduced to the main girl character (sorry, still having trouble remembering names) who is friends with Min-jae. Apparently both are kind of outcast because Min-jae is young but has an executive position which everyone says is because of his relation with the owner (it's his father, but he really is a hard worker). This girl's mom is being followed around by some loan shark's thugs who keep urging them to pay them their money (we still don't know what got them into this debt). The wicked step mother does not seem to like Minjae or his mother very much and is out right mean to them. All she cares about is her precious grandson coming home. The Oh family (Min-jae's family) are owners of Joyland amusement park which is where most of the story takes place.

I watch out of Philadelphia, and I just saw episode 1 last night. I taped it because I was on the telephone with my sister who was driving home alone, and had 2 hours to drive.
In between the conversations with my sister, I did see some of the show. All characters looked pleasant, I saw at least 2 familiar faces.
I agree it isn't Yellow Handkerchief, and I am not sure if we willl ever see another Korean drama that will ever come close to the story, or the acting in YH.
Maybe it is too early to judge that, but I will be very surprised if any other drama becomes my favorite over Yellow Handkerchief.

Here in California we are well into OMR. I am enjoying it more & more.. I DO agree with one thing.... I doubt I will ever enjoy or be as hooked on a drama as I was YH. However, OMR is really great. You'll see....

Thanks, nsheldon, for the encouragement! Jean is right, we may never see anything like YH ever again, but if you can't watch the one you love, love the one you're watching
