I really like the Bodyguard theme song, without, of course, understanding it. Was it written for the show, or is it some other hit tune? Can the lyrics (in Korean) be found anywhere?

Since we are on the subject of theme songs, I just wanted to add that I was watching Singer Platform the other day and to my surprise I saw Kyung-taks younger sister Kyung-mi singing the theme song to the drama bodyguard. I couldn’t believe it but I put two and two together and realized that she sings the female version of the theme song at the end of the bodyguard drama. I am not that familiar with some Korean pop stars but was wondering if she was one. Also, did any viewer catch Singer Platform.
Moreover, the show bodyguard is great and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Speaking of music, one thing that I found interesting is one of the little background themes they play that I swear sounds Italian to me. I don't know if it's the accordion (kind of reminds me of movies where a couple is having an intimate dinner at an Italian restaurant and a guy with those accordion walks by and serenades them) or what, but the first time I saw the show I was a little surprised and maybe even amused.

I'm not surprised. The theme song for one of the most famous drama series (Mo-re-si-ge; Hourglass--gangsters and such) was Russian.

I've also heard some Mozart (arranged for nonacoustic instruments) in the background of this show. I can't remember when, but I recognized it as an aria from "The Marriage of Figaro." It was a scene when someone was in someone else's bedroom, and that's what the aria is about, too, so I thought it was cute that they used it.

HumbleStudent, the soundtrack can be purchased at www.yesasia.comjust type in "bodyguard" in the search area, you will also see that the DVD for the series is also going to be released. You may have to purchase a "region free" dvd player, but I do not know for sure. In any case, the product does come very quickly, prices are in $US, but the product is shipped from Hong Kong. They have a secure line for credit card purchases. I have successfully ordered from them.

the soundtrack is cool...so worth the buying. the songs are cool in there. i notice that the songs are very latino-like. there's a song from the soundtrack called "La Fuerza De La Gravedad - Javier Rios...sound very nice. i dun think i heard it yet in the serie itself but it's on the soundtrack. the song is in spanish though... so me have not a clue as to what it mean. now i'm regretting for not taking spanish when i could...hehehe. wow...so Kyung Tak's sister is a singer in real life...that's cool...hehe.

Here is the Bodyguard music page: bodyguard.kbs.co.kr/plus/ost.html It contains the lyrics in Korean for all of the songs, including Cool ha ge, the theme song. (I found this link at the KBC Bodyguard info page, so thank Michael!)
