The contact is the very first Korean movie I ever heard of. It came out in 96 and it stars Han Suk-Kyu, Jeon Do-Yeon, Chu Sang-Mi (Min Joo in Yellow Handkerchief), Park Yong-Soo. This was a very popular movie and it even played in, at least, one Chicago theater that I know of. I've been interested in this movie ever since I first heard about it. It was released with english subtitles last year so I (finally) bought the DVD earlier this month. I haven't gotten around to watching it yet but from what I about it, it seems to be like the Korean version of 'You've got mail'. If you'd like to see what movie I'm talking about click HERE. I don't watch many Korean movies, more interested in the dramas, but I definitely want to watch this movie. Time always seems to be an issue though.
