Can someone tell me what areas of the city/suburbs WOCH reaches? I ask because I'm going to be moving soon and it is of course important that I live somewhere where I can get a good reception on KBC. Thanks in advance.

Scroll down to the topic that asks where KBC viewers live -- that might give you some ideas on broadcast area.

I am quite sure there are no viewers any further from the source than I am, in Crystal Lake. If you don't mind a less than perfect picture you'll do ok this far out, though at this time of year there is sometimes interference from another Channel 28, in South Bend, I believe. I solve this problem by going to my second tv and using an inside UHF antenna, as opposed to the roof antenna. The picture is not good in that case, but the subtitles are always readable. I have been used to these problems since 28 went on the air, so I guess you make do with what you have. Have a good move fantasticeel!

Location of the TV in the home is important, especially with an indoor antenna. I find that WOCH's sister station, WOCK (ch 13) comes in better in the TV in the bedroom than the one in the living room. Sort of a Video Feng Shui.

Soju, I didn't know she had a sister. Do they look alike? Channel 13 in this neck of the woods is a faint, unhealthy-looking staion from Rockford. If I ever stay somewhere near Chi-town I'll want to check out WOCK. Thanks.

Channel 13 is Chinese TV in Chicago. It's not as good as KBC, mostly news and talk shows, although they have English language programs and shows about Chinese culture on the weekend which are pretty interesting.
And if you can get KBC way out in Crystal Lake then I'll probably be okay pretty much anywhere on the north side of Chicago. Thanks again for the advice, everyone.
