I agree, Andrea is cute, but I think if we are strictly talking looks, Woojin is also a very handsome guy. Sure Andrea is without a doubt the nicer one, but wouldn't you just love it if a guy would drool over you like Woojin does for Eunha? Of course Woojin has that evil thing going on, trying to separate two people who obviously belong together...

But Andrea loves Eunha very much too...he's just dedicated to his calling. Woojin's just a suck cause he can't have something so innocent and pure which is what Andrea and Eunha have.

I agree that Woo-jin's bitterness is unpleasant, but I kind of feel sorry for him - he's losing his mother and his lover to his best friend, and finds himself becoming more like his father, an alcoholic who can no longer practice medicine, who btrayed HIS best friend.
Have they made clear what happened to Woo-jin's birth mother? Died, divorced, ran away, never married, what?

Woojin's mother remarried Dr. Jung after her husband had died from a mysterious car accident. She gave birth to Andrea with her first husband, and then Woojin later finds out that she is not her real mother-- READ the character profiles!!

I think Soju was talking about rich Woojin, not Andrea- Woojin. I know Dr. Jung divorced his first wife, rich Woojin's birth mother, to marry his present wife (Andrea's mother). And I think that's pretty much all they mention about her. Woojin is a tormented soul. I don't think he likes what he is becoming either. When he was pleading to his mom to help him to not become like his father, I genuinely felt his pain. There is no easy medium for these characters, Woojin desperately loves Eunha because in her, he finds his salvation. You have to remember that her mere presence prevented him from committing suicide. I admit, his ethics are truly questionable. Andrea is becoming mean. I know he is trying to stick to his calling and all...but HELLO why can't anyone read into the hints Eunha is trying to give about her condition?
