Medicore episode up until the end. One hell of a cliffhanger. The end was good stuff.

Yes, it was good to seem him stop being passive and looking wistful for once.
The ending mirroring the beginning scene (but with a difference) was neat too.

Well, Michael, until the past three or so eps, the show has been about as active as this board I hope that things will continue to move along. I like the story; I like the characters; but . . . (checks watch).

Yes, the twists and turns aren't bad, but the show has been meandering again after that bit of life.

Yes, the show is really getting repetitive, like that greedy grandmother is at it again.

(checks watch). I agree. I'm also beginning to see that this show might have been geared towards many ajummas (older ladies) of Korea who like this kind of emotional dynamics. Even though the plot seemed to have plateaued ad infinitum, I think things will start to wrap up soon in about 10 episodes. If you have suggestions about next drama to take this time slot start hollaring here, please.. I'll try to relay faithfully..

I have had a tough time being patient with SJ, but also with HJ and their reserve in the face of the pain they must be feeling. I've missed a couple of episodes, and found last night's interesting, in that NY is finally showing unguarded, fully expressed feelings for SJ-- maybe now HJ will start having an intellectual response to the situation. As a whole, the drama is slow moving, but the premise is fascinating.

Wife has been a big disappointment to me. It's a shame because the idea behind the drama is intriguing but on screen the drama fell apart. From the point that Sang Jin returned home till now nothing really has happened. It's like every episode is a re-run of the previous one because they end and nothing really in the story has changed. I agree with Michael that this drama is more for older audiences.

I must disagree, especially after seeing episode 42, nothing but good stuff. Wife has one of the most original and quite possibly best conflicts of anything I've read or saw. If Wife was alot shorter such as being 20 episodes instead of 52, it wouldn't be as tedious. We'd get more good stuff instead of filler. And in reponse to this drama being geared towards older women, I like it, I'm an 18 year old dude, and I'm as"hardcore" as it gets. I also know lots of other guys in love with this show. This show is for everyone.
