Here's a spoiler thread for anybody who wants to use it. Since these threads usually don't get a ton of use these days, we'll just have one combined thread for spoilers and historical spoilers.
Yes this series aired eight years ago but please do use this thread for any spoiler or historical spoiler you want to share or discuss. Some of us will be watching the series for the first time. It's better if you can wait until the relevant episode airs but if you're just itching to post something spoiler-related, this is the thread for you.
Background information that sets up the series, that's not spoiler material and can be posted freely.
Thanks!

Things that will not be amusing. Buyeo Gye, a major villain in the show who is the focus of much of it, has an incredibly short entry in the Samguk sagi, due to him having an incredibly short reign.
This is all they have of him:
King Gye (r.344-346)
King Gye was the eldest son of King Bunseo; he was endowed with a courageous nature and was an accomplished horseman and archer. At the time of his father's death, he was too young to rule, so King Biryu governed in his stead, and when the latter died in the forty first year of his reign, Gye ascended the throne.
345: 2nd year. (there's no entry written here, but a footnote in Mark Byrington's English translation of the Baekje annals say that Samguk sagi has a description about royal ceremoniees, and that King Gye made a visit to King Dongmyeong's shrine in the fourth month of his second year on the throne.)
346: 3rd year, autumn, 9th month. The king died.
