So I channel-hopped over to my local KBS station and they're running something I didn't recognize, turns out it's the 2010 Sungkyunkwan Scandal series. I watched today's episode. Blecch.
But it's interesting that they've dug into their archive to rerun a past historical. Wonder if they'll keep that up.
Anyway, just a heads-up in case anybody's interested.

Ooh, I love this drama. I watched it twice, once like a year ago and second time more recently. Both times I just loved it. Park Yoo Chun is so cute.

I really loved this drama at first - especially Yoo Chun he's so cute, but it went down hill about half of the series and became too cliche for me. And the ending didn't make up for it as well. I feel sorry for that Kisaeng who fell in love with the female lead, not knowing he is a she. And I thought it was silly that she was used as an assassin - if she only do it in secret way (poisoning etc) then I think I will buy it... but to act like a ninja assassin? since when did she had time to learn those?

Yeah, I think PYC is the cutest thing. I love all his dramas.
Regarding cliches - I hate them too but to find a drama free of cliches is a small miracle. The one that came closest was Signal, an excellent drama. I usually don't mind cliches here and there as long they don't dominate the whole show.
The ninja girl didnt bother me, I thought she was fairly believable. In any case, she didn't have a big enough role to affect the drama for me.
Have you watched any of PYC's other dramas? As I said I love them all but I especially loved I Miss You. Very sad but so good.

Yep, but I thought before they can become a kisaeng they have to spend most of their time training as one so it makes me wonder how did she get to train like an assassin, although I also find Hajiwon's brother cute in this series. I didn't see all of his drama but the ones that I saw are: Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Miss Ripley, Rooftop Prince, Missing You and The Girl Who Sees Smells. I love all of them too, Missing you is...really sad and dark but at the same time it was exciting and intense. My favorite is Rooftop Princes though, even though there are some things that I am not satisfied with. At first I wasn't satisfied with the ending, thinking that... the one she fell for was the one from Joseon, he was the one she spent time with and developed feelings for and not the one from modern time. So even if he was reincarnated, I still can't help but think that they are not the same person. The person she fell for and the one she's with in the end, so how is she going to fell for that one?

I haven't gotten round to watching Miss Ripley yet - I really like the lead girl in it too, so definitely will watch in the future. Was it good? (without giving anything away please). And I really want to watch Three Days too. 2) Missing You/I Miss You was awesome 3) My favorite by far is Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Lee Sun Joon is my favorite character that PYC plays. 4) I totally see what you mean. But I'm a sucker for a happy ending so I didn't mind it at all. In fact I was hoping for a similar ending for Scarlet Heart Ryeo...

Haha I remember this drama after seeing the ending of Scarlet Heart Ryeo.... I thought, even that kind of ending would've been better than the one we got, since SHR's ending really left me sooo dissatisfied, it made me wanting more.
