Some of you have most likely heard of webtoons, which basically Korean webcomics, but formatted so you can scroll down to read. Most hosted by Korea's equivalent of Google (I think?), called Naver; in fact, some successful webtoon artists make $2400 a month if popular enough. This comic medium has grown so large in popularlity that not only is the manhwa print media in Korea declining, they also get adapted into Korean dramas.
Its not uncommon for Kdramas to be based off of comics though, but the webtoon industry opened more doors for stories. It's one thing for a printed comic to get translated to the screen, but I don't think webcomics would have gotten this much attention several years earlier.

^The link above are examples of such. This truly is the age of comic adaptations.

Webtoons I've read-and whether I think they'd make a good transition to the screen
In Full Bloom
A 90 chapter assassination plot with a prince getting a hired killer to target his tyrant father. I can see something like this being made for television.
Bastard!!!
An ongoing thriller about a serial killer's son who is an accomplice to his murders who befriends a potential target and tries to keep her away from his father.
Paladin
Some fantasy story invollving superpowered knights.....I don't recommend this one. It lacks focus. Not likely to get an adaptation, nor do I want to see one.
The Gamer
What if your life was an RPG? More fitting for anime.
위나암림/?
I don't know what the English title for this one is since it never got an ENglish translation, but from what I've been able to read from it, it's the story about King Chadae of Koguryo, brother of Taejo of Goguryeo. It's basically a Korean retelling of Macbeth, with a war hero overcome with ambition after coming across three masked demons/spirits. It probably takes too much from the Shakespearian play, with even a Lady Macbeth as Chadae's fictional wife present. The webtoon however, doesn't really have much of a conclusion. Does anyone familiar with Shakespeare remember the scene in which Macbeth sees the ghost of the people he killed, causing him to go ballisitic and swing his sowrd around while everyone looks at him like he's gne crazy? Imagine if Macbeth ended there.
For what its worth, it has an interesting art style. As for a screen adaptation....with the declining interest in Asian men with beards, maybe not.
