The MBC Chicago people have announced a new drama called "My Daughter Geum Saweol" that began last weekend (my apologies for the late post). Will run 50 episodes, each 60 minutes long; airs Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 p.m. with repeats airing Mondays and Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m. (and then a second set of repeats airing I believe early on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 3:50 a.m., if I've read the announcement correctly). It's a mainstream contemporary drama about family relationships. A woman raised in an orphanage who gets to know her mom without realizing it's her mom...that kind of thing. Park Se Young from "A Tale of Two Sisters" is in it, and so is the guy who played the title role in Shin Don. Here's the station's PDF announcement, and the usual information links. Just finished this, except for some reason,MBC did not air the final episode. However i urge everyone to watch this, its beyond twisted. I thought it was going to be some romantic drivel, not even close. This one is so over the top. In the first eight episodes you will see the most evil eight year old in the history of television.
Park Se Young is the evil villianess (eight year old, grown up ),she is both hateful and stunning. The guy from Shin Don is also a crazed maniac .
Give this a shot, you will not regret it, and MBC you need to make more like this .

Wow, would not have expected that...thanks for the tip. It looks like the series is on that Viki site so maybe you could catch the final episode from there.

AKJ,the closest i can compare this to, is our old fave, Baking King Kim Tak Gu. The style and plot twists are similar, only even more off the wall (in a good way). Thanks for the tip AKJ .
