Drama series has ended in Korea with good ratings
« Thread Started on Oct 13, 2009, 4:21am »

MY TOO PERFECT SONS ended on a strong note. :D

Its Sunday finale brought KBS a series (and year) high with ratings of 48.6%. This also means that it has surpassed SBS’s Brilliant Legacy to claim top spot of the entire year out of all three broadcast stations (Brilliant Legacy’s high was a 47.1%).

The ending didn't seem stretched or dragged out after all. :)

How many episodes were there? (is there a way to tell what episode number is what? (I know they have somethin in Korean that might state episode number (but they don't have it in english that I can tell)... I notice lot of the good drama's are short lived... while like Iron Empress just drags on and on (sorry to Iron Empress fans, no disrespect intended.) How far ahead was Korea showin episode versus Chicago... (tho we're really lose cause 41 is down and prob out)... darn (not what I had originally but...) fiber optic.. So I missed the 2 that were airin on 10/14 and 10/15 (lit was the episode after Jennifer/Boskil gave the presentation and the mother had the teacher over for dinner without telling Jinpung (or is it Jinpoon, well either way the eldest brother). The preview was of her beggin Sulin to give up Jinpung, the second oldest tryin to tell Jennifer/Boskil bout what really happened with Sulin when the father came upon them... (he had his hands on her and the father said what is goin on)... ( so withouit givin the endin away, is there hope this show will last long enough to catch more episodes if they ever fix 41).... or will it b like He Who Can't Marry.. endin while 41 is down and not seen by many.

Once Channel 41 is back on, will someone post here what the new show is?

Bo

REVISION: Oops. I'm sorry, it's over in Korea, isn't, not here. LOL.

From Dae Jang-geum:

I'm pretty sure that the last episode we saw was #35. I've begun watching with #36 on
KoreanMovies.

Any suggestions?

You can download eps of the show, in .mp4 format, with English subs from Aja-Aja.

You will need a player that supports .mp4, such as Apple's Quick Time or Media Player Classic. You may also want to get a short-term registration to Mega-Upload (where Aja-Aja's files are stored), so that you can dowload them faster, but you don't have to.

Soju,

I’m seeking your help.

I’m NOT trying to download any dramas; I just want to watch them on Aja-Aja. My problem is this; I CAN get all of the episodes of “Queen of the Game”, however I don’t get the English subtitles. None of the episodes display the icon that indicates it doesn’t have English subtitles. Can you guide me on what I should do?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hmmm, I don't think you can actually watch video on Aja-aja, just download.

For subs, take a look at D-Addicts; The subs for 'Queen of the Game' they have are by WithS2. Take a look around both sites, they are wonderfull resources.

Once you have the viedo and subtitles, but them in the same folder, and make sure the filenames are the same, except for the extension. For example, Somedrama_ep15.avi (video) and Somedrama_ep15.srt (subtitle). The subs should play with the video, but you may have to tweak your players settings.

Some more good infomation can be found on the Philly Board's Technical Q & A section, and also at Videohelp.
