By the way, this week, I got a few surprises for everyone.

We're releasing the book in Korean book stores plus, if you come to the K-Fest, I'll be giving away posters with the purchase of every book.

There is also a free MP3 card inside each book that allows you to download a song by an up and coming band called I FIGHT DRAGONS.

They are hot!

hey what happened? I was hoping to see a booth with the comic books. Fortunately they were giving them away for free at the stage with the bands. They were giving away things and asking people to do something like dance or sing. BUT since I'm to shy I waited til one of the bands started playing and went up and asked for a free copy. Great job on the comic book!

I am so very sorry. I did not have a booth at the festival because my time was divided between K-Fest and Wizard World Chicago. I'm so glad you managed to get a copy and that you enjoyed the book. Thank you so much for the compliments!

I am pleased to officially announce that comic book veteran David Anthony Kraft is now the new editor of YI SOON SHIN. David has worked in the comic book business for a number of years and has done countless work for both Marvel and DC.

More news is on the way.

I was buying my regular Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic 8-) and saw a post card of Yi Soon Shin on the counter. They were selling it! Comix Revolution, ~600 Davis St., Evanston. :D :D Of course, I bought one. Issue 1, it says.

I would like to begin this by thanking those of you who purchased YI SOON SHIN #1: THE TRIAL EDITION. On behalf of myself and the entire creative team behind the series, we sincerely appreciate your support.

I have some exciting announcements to make:

The title of our series has been changed to YI SOON SHIN: WARRIOR AND DEFENDER. This premiere edition of Issue #1 will be available in Haven Distributors catalogue COMICS! in October 2009. Be sure to let all your local retailers know!

YI SOON SHIN: WARRIOR AND DEFENDER #1 has been re-edited by our new series editor, David Anthony Kraft, who worked with Stan Lee at Marvel editing early new X-Men, Wolverine as well as Rogue's very first appearances, and more top titles than you know. Although the story is the same, DAK (as we like to call him) felt like there were some changes that needed to be made to better enhance your reading experience.

Now for those of you who spent your hard earned cash on the Trial Edition (now a collector's item!), contact me directly at OLKompan@aol.com and I will send you the new YI SOON SHIN: WARRIOR AND DEFENDER #1 for a dollar off the cover price. All you need to do is provide me with the UPC barcode info on the back of the book. I’ll even throw in some hot new promotional posters!

We will be premiering YI SOON SHIN: WARRIOR AND DEFENDER #2 at next year’s C2E2 Comic Book Convention in Chicago (4/16/2010-4/18/2010). @Chigirl68: I hope that my latest post answered your question about Issue #2. As of right now we're still working on finding a publisher (we are using their feedback plus reader feedback as the backbone for WARRIOR AND DEFENDER). Issue #2 will be out in April 2010 and its going to bring this series to a whole new level.

@ ginnycat5: Thank you so much for picking up the Trial Edition and I really hope you will check out WARRIOR AND DEFENDER #1! The Trial Edition is almost sold out in two store locations (Northshore Comics and Graham Cracker Comics (Chicago Loop)) thanks to loyal customers such as yourself.
